Rep Sam Onuigbo says Nigerians will greatly miss Lady Victoria  Aguiyi-Ironsi,  wife of Nigeria's first Military Head of State, General Johnson Thomas Umunnakwe Aguiyi-Ironsi who just passed on

Onuigbo, member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia North and South Federal Constitueny in the House of Representatives in his condolence message to the Aguiyi-Ironsi family described the former first lady as a mother to all and a pillar of support to 

"I received with sadness the news of the death of Lady Victoria Nwanyiocha Aguiyi-Ironsi, former First Lady of Nigeria, and wife of Nigeria's first Military Head of State, General Johnson Thomas Umunnakwe Aguiyi-Ironsi.

" Lady Aguiyi-Ironsi, who was my constituent and a mother to many of us, was, during her time, regal and an inspiring example of the enduring and overcoming spirit of Igbo women in general. A pillar of support to wives of Governors and Presidents, Lady Aguiyi-Ironsi's penchant for peace, and her ever-smiling demeanour were comforting for all.

"She will be missed greatly by Nigerians", Rep Onuigbo stated in the condolence message sent to the family.
