Mallam Isa Gusau


The vibrant media aide to Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum, Mallam Isa Gusau has breathed his last at an Indian Hospital, sources close to the Borno government reveals

Gusau who  also served as  the spokesman to the present Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima when he was the governor of the  State had been on admission at the Indian Hospital for over a month now battling for him life for yet to be disclosed protracted ailment.

He took the final bow Thursday in the specialist hospital in New Delhi said the source who would not like to be quoted.

“We have lost Isa to the cold hands of death, he was unconscious for about three days, we were all praying for his recovery but it was quite unfortunate that we lost him this evening in the hospital in New Delhi, India.”, the source said 

Gusau, former State Correspondent was a workaholic, with an unwavering devotion to his assignment of getting premium media coverage for his principal. He reportedly died in active service as even from his sick bed as he never relented from overseeing Gov Zulum's media coverage, until he breathed his last.
