Rep Onuigbo signing the condolence register




Rep. Sam Onuigbo has penned an Eulogy to  late Hon. K.C Ugboaja, describing him as his good friend,  defender of the voiceless, fighter for the good of the people and  a great man whose legacies will endure, and whose shoes will take a while to be filled.


“It is so sad that he died so young, and his death is a huge loss, not just to this community, but to the people of Ikwuano, Abia State, and  entire Nigeria", the lawmaker   representing Ikwuano/Umuahia N/S Federal Constituency wrote in the condolence register at the home of the late APC  stalwart.

Onuigbo, who is also the APC Senatorial candidate for Abia Central Senatorial district  told newsmen that he was at Ariam -Usaka home of K C Ugboaja  to pay his respects to a fallen hero and a great son of Ikwuano LGA whose demise has left a deep sense of loss in the hearts of those who loved him and to condole with his family on behalf of himself,  his family and "..the good people of great Ikwuano/Umuahia North and South whom I represent at the  House of Representatives, Abuja"


Onuigbo promised to continue working with late Ugboaja’s family to ensure that he is never forgotten as loved ones are never truly gone, but live on in the memories of those who loved them. He  urged them to find a place in their hearts to bear this huge and irreplaceable loss.


The head of the family, Elder Andrew Agbakwo Ikpeka welcomed Rep. Onuigbo and his condolence delegation  to Ugboaja's home. He stated that while death is a path that all men will tread, the untimely nature of Hon. Ugboaja’s death was saddening. He thanked  Onuigbo for coming to mourn with them and went on to express happiness for the support being shown to their family at this sad period.


In a  vote of thanks, Elder Ikechukwu Owoebe thanked Rep. Onuigbo for coming to grieve with, and show support to the family, which is proof of the love he has for late K.C Ugboaja, his family and the people of Ariam-Usaka, and prayed that God will continually bless Rep Onuigbo in all his endeavours


K C Ugboaja who passed on recently was former two-terms Executive Chairman of Ikwuano LGA and former Commissioner for Works, whose impressive political legacies has endeared to Ndi Ikwuano and Abians alike.
