Nyesom Wike

The Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, Monday said he will not leave his enemies to God but  that he will crush them by himself.

He said this when he joined the governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu, to inaugurate the Okezuo Abia Flyover along the Port Harcourt - Aba -Enugu Expressway in Osisioma Ngwa Local Government Area, and the rehabilitated Aba-Owerri Road in Aba South Local Government Area of Abia State.

Wike said, “I was in the plane and  we were discussing, when he (Okezie Ikpeazu) said, why won’t I leave this thing for God. I asked ‘What do you mean?’

“God has given me what it takes for me to crush these people. For me to crush my enemies and you are telling me for me to leave it for God. No, God has many things to do. There are things that I should do. There are things that I will call on God to do.

“Not that I don’t know how to flog these small boys and I will leave them for God. No. I’m going to flog them", he vowed
