Ike Enweremadu & wife, Beatrice


Former Deputy Senate President,
Ike Ekweremadu and his wife Beatrice Nwanneka Ekweremadu  arrested Thursday by London's Metropolitan Police, in the  UK for allegedly facilitating the “travel of another person with a view to exploitation, namely organ harvesting” has been denied bail at Uxbridge Magistrate court in the UK.

Ekweremadu and his wife, Beatrice were arraigned for conspiracy to arrange the travel of a child, child trafficking, potential modern slavery, and organ harvesting.

BBC Igbo Service  reports that the Ekweremadus were arrested and kept in custody by the Police before their arraignment.
