Have Ikwuano PDP Caucus really adopted Stanley Nwabuisi as their consensus candidate for Ikwuano State Constituency seat for 2023 Abia State House of Assembly election?

Did the caucus arrive at this decision following  a mutual understanding of all of its members at a meeting of members and other aspirants?

Is the sole reason for adoption of Nwabuisi as a consensus candidate  to make him a ranking member of Abia State House of Assembly, ASHA? Let this Caucus tell Ndi Ikwuano what benefits accrued to Ikwuano when its representative attained ranking status and even served as Majority Leader of ASHA, from 1999-2011?

Let Ikwuano PDP Caucus equally tell Ndi Ikwuano where it became law that only one person must serve out the two terms for each clan of Ikwuano. How come two persons from Ariam-Usaka served out that clan's two terms?

Should that be the case, what are the benefits to Ikwuano - manifest and potential -  in Nwabuisi emerging a ranking member of ASHA?

Dailyledger.com.ng reports that the above questions were thrown up by Opinion leaders, other PDP House of Assembly aspirants and other party stalwarts who were ambushed by the announcement on social media that Ikwuano PDP Caucus have adopted the incumbent member of the ASHA as their  consensus candidate.

Ahead the PDP primary election for House of Assembly aspirants, it was reliably gathered that Nwabuisi has lost the confidence of delegates who maintained that he is a contributory factor to the neglect and marginalisation of Ikwuano LGA in the scheme of affairs.

A party stalwart who asked not to be named told dailyledger.com.ng: "It is alarming that from 2019 to date, Ikwuano cannot boast of any capital project worth N10 million. Is there no one in the House of Assembly to make a case for Ikwuano when Abia State Annual Budget is passed in the House?

"Ikwuano needs a representative who has ability, capability and capacity to plead the cause of Ikwuano where it matters most.

"What I find baffling is how our leaders can recommend someone who has shown total incapability to continue to represent us. What recommends him from his activities so far in the House?"
