Abiriba, the serene, picturesque town, popularly called 'Small London' came alive in an unprecedented manner Saturday, December 11, 2021 as its Paramount Ruler,  HRM Eze Kalu Kalu Ogbu (IV) celebrated his 21st Coronation Anniversary.

The event attracted the largest gathering of Abia's shakers and movers in politics, government, commerce and the economy generally.


Eze Ogbu (IV), the first Deputy Chairman of Abia State Council of Traditional Rulers and the Enachioken-in-Council also used the occasion for  conferment of chieftaincy titles to deserving individuals at his Ndi Oko Ogo Palace


Among those honored with Chieftaincy titles during the ceremony include:

 - Deputy Governor of Abia State, Rt Hon Ude Oko Chukwu (Ikirike Oku).

- Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe (Eturu Mang)

-  Honorable Uko Nkole (Nkuma La Iyi).

- Abia State Commissioner For Trade & Investment, Chief John Okiyi Kalu (Nwandugbom Abiriba)

- Chief (Dr) Anya Onwuka Odim (Agbakuru Dike)

-  Chief Okafor Ukaegbu (Enyi Nwo Ofia)

- Chief Kelvin Jombo (Igurube)

-  Chief Ibe Boco (Okpote Umu Wa)

- Chief Nwaka Inem (Enyioha)



Dignitaries and friends of celebrants from across the country trooped to the ceremony in their numbers, including the member representing Aba North/South Federal Constituency, Hon Chimaobi Ebisike; Deputy Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly,  Rt Hon Ifeanyi Uchendu; Hon Jerry Uzosike;  Secretary to Abia State Government, Barr Chris Ezem; Head of Service Sir Onyi Wamah;  Members of Abia State Executive Council, Permanent Secretaries, Local Government Chairmen, and notable traditional rulers including Eze Joseph Nwabekee, the Chairman of Abia State Council of Traditional Rulers.

The day was also a joyous moment for the Paramount Ruler as he celebrated his call to the Nigerian Bar
