Hon Chinedum Orji

“Your metamophosis as a charismatic and visionary leader is indeed a positive development worth applauding”, states Dr. Chukwuemeka Onyenucheya in a letter congratulating   the  Speaker, Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Chinedum Orji on being conferred with the ‘Man of the Year, 2021’ award by Abia Online Media Publishers, the umbrella body for all Online Media Practitioners in the State

Dr Chukwuemeka Onyenucheya

Dr. Onyenucheya who described the honour done to the Abia Speaker as apt and befitting, added that it speaks volumes coming from members of the critical 4th Estate of the realm.

“Hon Speaker, you have shown an exemplary charismatic and visionary leadership by successfully maintaining a cordial executive-legislative relationship in a hitherto turbulent political climate.

“Abians and Nigeria as a whole are still watching as the leadership qualities in you blossom.

“The Man of the Year award from Abia Online Media Practitioners, coming closely behind The SUN newspaper`s ‘Public Service Award’ confirms that yours is indeed an inspirational and  people-oriented leadership.

Congratulations sir”, the chairman of Onyenucheya Foundation stated

Dr. Onyenucheya  also applauded the Abia Online Media Publishers for honouring the Speaking, and described the gesture as an endorsement of a model of leadership needed for transformation of Abia State.

The Abia  Online Media Practitioners  states that Rt Hon Orji is named its “Man of The Year 2021’ in  recognition of the role the Speaker is playing in "...stabilizing the political climate in the state.

"The Speaker has become different things to different people, his fame never wanes, he has continued to wade through different political bends unruffled".

"Above all, is his ability to relate with leaders in Abia, past and present irrespective of party leaning, a virtue that has become so scarce in the polity today".

The Award will be presented to the Speaker at the Michael Okpara Auditorium on the 19th of Nov. 2021 as part of the activities marking the group’s 4-Day Annual General Meeting/Bloggers Week.
