The emerging political movement, the New Nigeria Group, NNG has anchored in Abia to spread its gospel of 'a nation where justice, equity and fair play reign supreme'

Leader of the group and presidential hopeful for 2023 Presidential election, Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa who presented the vision and mission of NNG to an audience at Royal Damgrete Hotel, Umuahia maintained that with his entry into the presidential race, "The expiry date for Nigeria's problems are near"

"Lets start afresh, and do things the way it ought to be done", he urged.

According to the boardroom guru-turned politician,  the NNG is not a political party, but a movement whose vision is " To make Nigeria become a first world nation where all the citizens live in harmony, are treated equally to achieve peace and prosperity for all

He identified Nigeria's four critical challenges to include Poverty, Corruption, Injustice and Injustice; And further argued that the solution to poverty will eradicate corruption, while resolving injustice will deal with insecurity.

Ohuabunwa proffered that though he belongs to the PDP, the options of which political party platform he will pursue his presidential ambition is still open, and the possibilities include the APC or even a third force.

The meeting equally witnessed the inauguration of Abia State Steering Committee with Mr Fridy Uche Mpama as the interim chairman.
