* Rep Onuigbo

"Let me congratulate, once again, Professor Madu Iwe, on his successful emergence and inauguration on March 1, 2021, as the new Vice Chancellor of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike. I wholeheartedly welcome him to this great university, situated in not only my constituency, but also my Local Government of origin.

"As the man charged with overseeing the affairs of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, it is my prayers that he works harmoniously and productively with the academic and non-academic staff; work in peace with, and show respect to, the catchment communities of the university; and show maximum commitment as an Abian to develop the university.

"While I know that a man of his pedigree will do his best to grow the University to international standard through outstanding performances in academic research and development, I want to pledge my support to him. My office will always be available to provide whatever support we can to him.

"I wish him a peaceful and productive tenure of office."
