* Gbadamosi

The  governorship candidate of the Action Democratic Party, ADP, in Lagos State, Babatunde Gbadamosi Monday distanced himself from statements
attributed to him stating that he linked the release of Omoyele  Sowore, Publisher of SaharaReporters and the immediate past National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki as actions to divert attention from the attempts on the life of  former President Goodluck  Jonathan.

Gbadamosi maintained that his tweets on his twitter was taken out of context and he was misrepresented. The politician who tasked journalists to be more factual than sensational nonetheless commended Nigerian journalists whom he said had shown professional integrity over the years.

Elaborating further on what he actually said, Gbadamosi said: ''l  can't shake a feeling is not the same as making a categorical statement of fact''. He pleaded with those quoting him via comments made on his social media handle to stop attributing to him words he did not actually use.
