*  Civil War Veterans Mourn Achuzia

        A 25-year old female reportedly  committed suicide following her poor performance in the recently released  UTME results.

     Theledgerng.com reports  that the University admission seeker allegedly  took her life in the early hours of Tuesday in Ekeugbo, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State after she saw her results showing she failed.  She was said to have taken three bottles of Sniper and all these here found by her side in her room after the door was broken –open by her parents. But the Police Division who do not want their names, the parents, continued that the girl took her life for failure of UTME, adding that her corpse had been deposited at the Ughelli  General hospital Mortuary.

        Meanwhile, the leadership of all ex-soldiers of the 1967-1970 Nigeria civil war veterans under the agile of care first for the Aged welfare Development Association, has described the death of Col. Joseph Achuzia (rtd) as a colossal loss.

        Speaking to journalists in  Asaba after a condolence visit to the association,  Vet Ubi Ikoi, maintained that the death of the Civil war hero  remains the collective loss  of the Igbo Philosophy in particular, and the entire Biafra emancipation in general. The ex-soldiers disclosed that Achuzia’s resourcefulness made  indispensable contribution to the IPOB Liberation agenda that cannot be over-stressed, adding that the vacuum created by his death  cannot be filled by anybody.
