Fully recovered Oliseh hits Eagles camp
Nigeria coach Sunday Oliseh has recovered from illness to join the Super Eagles training camp in Abuja ahead of Friday’s World Cup qualifier in Swaziland.
Eagles spokesman Toyin Ibitoye disclosed Oliseh, who missed a CHAN qualifier return leg in Burkina Faso last month due to a viral infection, has recovered fully.

“He’s in camp and he’s in shape,” said Ibitoye.

Europe-based goalkeepers Carl Ikeme and Dele Alampasu as well as Ikechukwu Ezenwa from Sunshine Stars, Chima Akas and Austin Oboroakpo have also reported to the training camp.

More players are being expected later Monday, but flight delays caused by a Lufthansa strike may cause the Eagles to only begin training Tuesday night at the Abuja National Stadium, Ibitoye further said.

The training will be from 7pm.

The team will fly out of Abuja Thursday morning on a chartered flight.

The match will be played on Friday in Swaziland with kick-off slated for 6pm Nigerian time with the return leg on November 17 in Port Harcourt.
