Nigeria U23 team, Dream VI, may now head to Gambia to prepare for the 2015 Africa U23 Nations Cup in Senegal as a planned training camp in Morocco may have been botched.
Coach Samson Siasia’s team were due to fly out to Morocco on Sunday, but that did not happen and officials have now said they are considering an alternative training camp in Gambia.

“The Morocco camp is now most likely to be called off and the NFF are now looking at getting the team to Gambia before the Rio Olympics qualifiers,” said one top official.

Siasia has picked a squad of 26 players for the training camp before the U23 Championship in Senegal, which begins on November 28 in Dakar.

Nigeria are drawn in Group B in Mbour along with Egypt, Mali and Algeria
